Barrett

Marson Media is a public relations firm offering clients a wide array of services, specializing in public affairs, campaigns and crisis communications.

Barrett Marson draws on his vast experience as a reporter and Director of Communications for the Arizona House of Representatives and the Arizona Department of Corrections to provide clients with effective strategies for dealing with all of life’s communications needs.

Barrett spent about 12 years as a city hall, crime and courts reporter at newspapers across America, including Texas and Illinois before settling in 1999 in Arizona. Barrett covered a variety of beats for both the East Valley Tribune and the Arizona Daily Star, including the Capitol.

Barrett then spent four years working in the political arena as the spokesman for the House Republicans under Speaker Jim Weiers.

And for the last two-and-a-half years, Barrett worked for the state prison system putting out media fires on a near-continuous basis.

Now, Barrett brings his skills to clients across Arizona.
